How to schedule posts for the future / Future-date posts for automation
Did you know that when you write a blog post you can set it to publish in the future, instead of publishing immediately?
And did you also know it is SO super easy?
Here is how:
Step 1. Write your blog post on the Add New Post page, just like normal.
Step 2. Just before you go to hit Publish… pause for a moment.
Step 3. Look for the little link that will say ‘Publish Immediately’ or soemthing similar (depending on your version of wordpress). It will be right next to the Publish button.
Step 4. Click the little ‘Edit’ link next to ‘Publish Immedately’, set the future date and time… and you’re done.
Step 5. Now hit publish, and the post won’t go live until your set date.
If you want more powerful features to schedule posts for all your blogs and twitter accounts, all from one single screen, you need to check out PostLater. I use postlater now for all my blogs and twitter accounts, and it works a treat. Well worth the money (it’s not free).
