How to add HTML to a post

Sometimes, when you’re writing a blog post, you want to add some HTML code.

Perhaps to:

Add a banner ad
Add a link
Add an image
etc etc

While you can do all these things through the Text Editor features  of wordpress, it is complicated if you have been given the HTML banner ad code by an affiliate website.

Here is what you can do:

When you are composing a post, click the HTML button at the top of the box.

It looks like this:

HTML in your wordpress adminClicking this will show you your current post in HTML format, and you can paste in your banner ad code wherever you like.
